Summer came for a visit, but left and spring returned

The weather this week comes from England. I started out on saturday morning from Sweden and traveled to England via Denmark. Sunday morning saw us on a bus to London where we walked along the South Bank and visited the Tower. We ate crepes on a small courtyard along the South Bank and got to see the ravens of the Tower. We were lucky with the weather, it was overcast but did not rain. The weather at Newmarket have been rather cold and the sky has been overcast, but mostly dry weather. Back in Malmö on wednesday night, that also happens to be walpurgis night when people go out to look at burning fires and listen to singers sing: “The spring has arrived” (Våren är kommen), it was a little sun when I arrived but I think the police was quite happy it was a cold walpurgis night as there are less disturbances on festivities with cold weather than on festivities with good weather.
