After a glorious sunny weekend with a trip to look at stork babies in the countryside it has been rather mixed weather in town, warm and sunny but also overcast but very little rain. Today is midsummer eve in Sweden and the weather services promise rain and cold weather during the weekend but it is sunny when this is written in the morning of midsummer eve.

Most of the pictures above are taken during the trip we made to look at the ringing of the stork babies at The Swedish White Stork Reintroduction Program. It was a very sunny day and the red kites are seen as circling dots in the sky. We saw six red kites at the same time. We also saw wild storks that had made their nests on top of the aviary cage were the storks in the project lives. Click on the thumbnail pictures to see the full picture. More pictures on Our World Tuesday and skies on Skywatch.
