An ordinary summer

Grey morning on Wednesday.
Grey morning on Wednesday.

Maybe this weather is a quite ordinary summer as the mother of a workmate of mine told him when he complained about the weather. Traditionally July when everybody is on vacation is a rainy and cold month. Only we want sun and warmth in the summer instead of rain and cold weather.

All pictures are taken in Borås in Sweden from Wednesday to sunday.

Every town needs a high rise building, right? Sunday it rained on and off, it seems like someone pushed a button for a little rain and then pushed it for no rain in short intervals.

  1. Interesting cloud formations, so many variations of grey, almost white to dark slate.
Love little George slaying the dragon, never seen anything like that monument!
Wishing you lots of sunshine for the rest of summer,
    Merisi

    1. Thank you! The clouds are unfortunately more grey than white right now. But let us hope for a sunny august. I love the little boy with his rocking horse and his teddybear for a dragon too. I wish you a great sunday!

  2. I like your architectural photos of the town. I also really love the small George slaying the dragon. I’ve heard Sweden has been wet this summer. I think wet is better than too dry!

    1. Thank you! It is a very small statue and I loved it when I realized it was a child on a rocking horse. Yes, it is extremely wet and colder than usual. A little sun would be appreciated though I agree with you that wet is better than dry. I read in the paper that the farmers expected a good crop if the weather continue the meet the farmers needs. I wish you a good weekend!
