It has been a rainy and windy week but with a few glimpses of sun. North of us the remnants of a tropical storm is said to have passed and that is probably why it has been a lot of wind and rain in Borås. The storm was originally named Henri and in Norway it was called Petra. Well it wasn´t a storm any more when it arrived here.
Autumn is definitely here. Dawn arrives after six in the morning so it is still dark when I wake up and it is getting dark before eight at night so the short northern summer night are waning into the long Nordic nights during the autumn, winter and spring. But of course it will come back and the day will grow longer once Christmas has passed.
The pictures are from Borås in western Sweden.
