It has been a rainy week but is has been quite warm, often around 10 degrees Celsius. But it is dark when I go to work in the morning and it is getting dark when I go home in the afternoon.

This weekend I stayed in Borås and went exploring a little. I went to have a look at murals south of the city center and also saw colourful statues along Åhaga, amongst them a big rabbit. As I love rabbit I share this animal statue here. Saturday was quite wet and I was happy to get home again.

On sunday it was a little sunny in the morning and no rain, but the rest of the day was bright but overcast. I took the opportunity to finally climb Tokarpsberg, the hill I see every day from my kitchen window. It turned out to be only one rather steep path up to the hill and it wasn´t much walked. And there wasn´t any litter except one cigarette butt so not many people go up on the hill. Well I managed to climb the steep part and get back down again with the help of some trees. I put my cameras in my backpack on my way down for fear I would fall on them and ruin the lenses. Sadly there wasn´t any place to see the view up there but I saw some beautiful fungus, and cones that someone had eaten on so I think it is a good spot to live for small animals. And I saw a cat when I was down on the road again. And the wood was beautiful with big trees and big stones covered with moss.

The pictures are from Borås in western Sweden.

I climbed up on Tokarpsberg and managed to come down again without slipping on the leaves with the help of the trees and the fir boughs.

  1. I find that last image very nice. I love a walk in the woods to explore the details of the vegetation that can be found and you have captured several nice examples. Well done. have a blessed week-end.
