Walking along the western part of the old town one can see the small 18th century houses along the streets and a glimpse of Malmö Live in the distance.

I have told about builder Hägg and the animal ornaments on his houses several times. This is a curiosity. It is supposed to be the old police station in Malmö and it has squirrels as a decoration. I wonder why?

    1. Thank you! Sweden is a rather long country stretching from the south with a clime like Denmark on northern Germany in the south to the snowy tundras and mountains in the far north where there still is snow in may and there is no light in the days on winter. Luckily I live in the south and spring has arrived. Malmö where I live started its life as one of the Hansa towns around the Baltic sea and was famous for the fish it exported to Germany and the Netherlands. I wish you a good weekend!
