April weather

This week has offered typical april weather with sun, small hail and rain. Still rather cold though. The magnolia flowers as it should to Valborg or walpurgis night that is today. It is a holiday when swedes go out at night and look at burning fires and listens to choirs singing about spring. And it Is often cold and wet. At Lund university the student choirs sing surrounded by flowering magnolias, that is if they flower in time. At the end of the post there is a Youtube clip with Lund student singers.

Below I have also inserted a Youtube-film from a small place in southern Sweden where it seems that the scouts seems to be the organizers of the event.

I of course will spend Valborg indoors warmed by the fire of the electronic age – the television set.

The pictures comes from Malmö in Sweden.

I share this post with Our World Tuesday and Skywatch Friday.

Small hail stones or maybe snow flakes that melted immediately on the roof outside my work window. They did bounce so I think it was hail.
