Party in town

On the scanian countryside to buy raspberries
On the scanian countryside to buy raspberries

On saturday we took a short trip to the countryside and bought raspberries at a raspberry farm. I also bought plants and hope to get raspberries in the garden next year. Meanwhile Malmö is partying, Malmöfestivalen that happens  once a year has been going on with lots of food, street vendors, music and other happenings. The festival started on friday and had it’s big final yesterday, also on a friday. The weather is the same as last week with a mix of sun, overcast and rain.  The pictures comes from the countryside outside Trelleborg and from Malmö in Sweden . I must confess I don’t go to the festival any more. It was fun when it began in the middle of the 1980s but then it was much smaller and not as much people and more local vendors with handicrafts. I was tempted to go and look yesterday if I could see some craft stands but had too much to carry to go exploring. But if you are interested in music it should be a great experience. Timbuktu, a Swedish artist usually sings at the festival, but I heard that this was the first time he didn´t sing.  I share this post with Our World Tuesday and  Skywatch Friday.

Beautiful weather at the canal. Amusement parks is also a part of Malmöfestivalen as can be seen on the bridge ahead.
