Happy New Year!

Christmas trees are still sold on the day before Christmas Eve which is the day Christmas is celebrated in Sweden and Santa comes.

Last week has been a mix of grey weather, sun and rain. Some days have been windy. So far the winter has been rather mild and there are still roses on the bushes and yesterday I found flowering geraniums in Lund. Today is colder and has seen snowflakes in the air but no snow covers the ground  yet. The pictures are taken in Malmö in Sweden. I share this post with Our World Tuesday and Skywatch Friday.

Happy New Year!

A blue sky on Christmas Eve but no snow.
We had an last minute errand to Emporia on Christmas Eve and the mall of course had many decorations.
Fiskehamnen in Limhamn – The fishing harbour of Limhamn that is an old fishing harbour. In the beginning of the 20th century the fish wifes took the train with their carts from Limhamn to Malmö to sell their fish.
The winter has so far been rather mild and I found blue geranium in flower in Lund in December.

  1. We have a dusting of snow here in New Jersey. I saw the forecast this morning. There is a big storm coming up the coast…It might stay out at sea…or it could head inland and bring us quite a bit of snow next week. Happy New Year.
